Fitness and Gym

As part of our Health and Wellbeing unit this term, grade 5/6P is learning all about the importance of keeping fit, exercising and healthy eating. Each week two fitness instructors from YMCA come to Wang West and run 30 minute lessons, comprising of various fitness activities such as, sprints, boxing, tug a war, hurdles, sit ups, push ups and agility runs. Our Gym programme started yesterday. We had to do hand stands, rolling, bear walks, pencil bounces, front support rolls, tuck sits and soldiers. We had such a great time.
